And we didn't stop there. Baltimore Toolworks has worked extensively over the past three years in the research and development of yet another line of safety tools. Our laboratory research, backed up by field testing has led to the introduction of Hard Cap®. This revolutionary safety cap design increases the striking surface while dramatically reducing virbration, shock and noise. Using an advanced polymer developed by DuPont, this product eliminates tool head mushrooming, guards against glancing blows and transfers impact. Noise is reduced by a factor of 3 and sound frequencies above 9000 Hz. are eliminated. Hand and arm discomfort has been dramatically reduced. Overall vibration where the tool is gripped is reduced by a factor of 10.
